Questions, answered.
Setup, privacy and billing, in plain words.
Do I have to install anything?
No. You drag one button to your bookmarks bar. A browser extension exists but is optional.
Do you need my ESPN password?
Never. The connector sends the two ESPN cookies already in your browser. There is no field that would accept a password.
Which leagues work?
ESPN head-to-head fantasy basketball.
How long does connecting take?
About three minutes. The sync runs on its own after that.
Why cookies instead of signing in with ESPN?
ESPN offers no third-party sign-in for fantasy, so cookies are the only route in. Trust & Privacy explains what is read and kept.
What does the browser extension store?
The backend URL and your last league ID — nothing else. Your ESPN cookies are never stored there.
Are my ESPN credentials encrypted?
Yes, when an encryption key is configured — and DimeDropper checks that at startup rather than assuming it.
What does it cost right now?
The free tier stays free. Pro is $9 a month or $79 a year, and free for invited beta accounts — no card needed.
Do you store my card details?
No. Card details go to the payment processor and never reach DimeDropper.
Does clicking subscribe unlock the recommendations?
No. Access changes only after a verified payment, so a half-finished checkout never looks subscribed.
